Making a CD with all the sources on the same CD as the binaries would be
prohibitively restrictive.  We're not going to do it.  We're not even
going to try it.

I have this hair-brained idea.  How about instead of postulating, you
try speaking with the teams actually involved and see what they think?
I'm sure Release Engineering and Infrastructure know just a little bit
about the releases and our mirrors.  ;]

Anyway...

I'm now going to be working with our Infrastructure team to come up with
a solution.  Continued "discussion" on this issue without knowing any of
the actual back-end information is pretty pointless.  I'm going to be
working on a solution, so I am not going to bother reading any more of
this thread, nor responding to it.  There's simply no point in
discussing something where one has none of the important information and
yet still tries to make a decision.
