We had GTK and GTK2 once upon a time. We removed it and basically said that its up to the maintainer to decide which gtk version a application was going to use and the gtk use flag would be used for that.
I don't want to go down the path again of having two nearly identical flags for a different slotted version of a framework. I'd like to see just qt with a maintainer deciding if its going to be qt3 or qt4. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFEmCv9SENan+PfizARArgRAJ45Cyc52Cncg1BXU4/f7+whFZtDXwCcCZrN iszdqTyb2263H8x7fFM6gxI= =Iai+ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
