I had a bug from an users unable to build kdesktop with gcc 4.1. I built it fine I told him, and the line where the error was reported didn't contain anything of the extra qualification reported, so I asked him to check as he was probably using an overlay.
He started ranting that we have a bad user support and so on... until he actually recognized he was using xgl overlay.
