1. This IMO is not a good Idea, licences need to be reviewed thoroughly to ensure they are freely distributable. The case I am thinking of: if in the process of making a new ebuild, a copy of the licence is quickly made, without thorough review, for convenience, then forgot about. At this point, if repoman auto-commits, the licence is never fully reviewed. In packages that have more then one licence this scenario becomes more plausible. Yes, all licences should be considered before ebuilds are created, but this may not always be the case. 2.
