If there are no objections before Friday, I'm going to change virtual/alsa in base to sys-kernel/gentoo-sources. Now, if there are any arch-specific sources (sparc? mips?) that don't provide ALSA, please let me know before then, so I will know to add the virtual to those architectures for media-sound/alsa-driver.
