Yeah, we started to get somewhere with it, but then some of us got caught up in being busier in real life or other things popped up. But I agree here that we just have to start with something and see where it goes. Too many times have things been debated and nothing ever done/tried. I also tend to agree with Chris that to do it completely right would require a small fork that would work together with Gentoo on archiving its goals. It would be nice to come up with a solution without forking, but I just don't see how it'd be possible and keep things as they should in an enterprise realm.
