Hi all,

We finally have a stable-keyworded KDE 3.4.x. Enjoy :-)

If you're using monolithic ebuilds (this include all 3.3.x ebuilds) consider
moving to the split ones: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/kde-split-ebuilds.xml

There are no explicit instructions for upgrading from the monolithic to the
split ebuilds there (TODO....) and apparently that confused some people, so
I'll summarize:

When upgrading from KDE 3.3.x, you can just emerge split ebuilds freely.

When upgrading from KDE 3.4.x monolithic to 3.4.x split, it's easiest to first
unmerge the monolithic ebuilds and then emerge the split ones. There are a
few hours in between with nothing installed, so it's good for an overnight
install. (You can do it for each monolithic package in turn.)
