Thank you for stepping up to mentor a new Apache Incubator project, Apache
Casbin.
There’s quite a bit of mentoring documentation, but no one is expected to read
it all. If you do just three things to begin, make it these:
• Read the Quick start document.
• Watch the Mentor Onboarding video.
• Familiarize yourself with where other information is located, so you can
find it when needed.
That’s enough to get you started with mentoring.

These quizzes are hosted on a third-party platform (Canvas). The ASF does not
have a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with this provider. Please take standard
precautions regarding privacy and personal data. To the best of our knowledge,
the platform is GDPR compliant and collects only minimal personal information
(name, email address, and possibly IP address). No additional personal data is
tracked or retained.
Every podling and mentor is different, and some require more support than
others. These guides offer practical tips to help in most situations, and even
if you are an experienced mentor, it’s worth skimming them.
