Hi, Now that you have officially graduated from the Apache Incubator, it’s time to wrap up your mentorship role.
First, thank you for your time, effort, and guidance throughout the incubation process. Your support has helped the podling grow into a self-governing Apache project As part of the offboarding process, here are a few suggested, but entirely optional, steps:. Reflect on Your Mentorship • Take a moment to reflect on your mentorship journey: What worked well? What challenges did you face? • Revisit the Mentor Onboarding Guide [1] and Best Practices for Mentors [2] with your experience in mind. • If you have suggestions for improving these resources, please feel free to share them, as your insights will help future mentors. Share Feedback • To the Graduating Podling: If you’d like, send the community a brief note of encouragement, highlighting their strengths and any areas to watch as they continue their journey as a TLP. • To the IPMC: We also welcome optional feedback on the Incubator process, what worked, what didn’t, and what could be improved. Continue or Step Away You’re welcome to continue as an active member of the IPMC, helping other podlings grow and succeed. However, if you no longer wish to be involved, you can step down from the IPMC at any time, just let us know. Once again, thank you for volunteering your time and expertise. Mentorship is one of the most important contributions to the ASF, and we appreciate everything you’ve done to help your project succeed.
