Looks like I missed the discussion about this happened on Slack channel set
by Bramha! I did not get the invitation to join as I my ID used was wrong..

Bramha, it would be good to have discussion here.. my interest would be to
add me as initial member to represent VISA but would leave it to you guys (as I
missed part of initial discussion).

    Thx

Roman, I would like to be part of initial member from VISA side, I am
existing PMC on Ambari and at VISA we have been using Ambari to manage our
large scale clusters. Let me know if there are any concerns!

        Regards, Suhas

Subject: Rebooting Ambari PMC via board resolution

            Hi!

after a few discussion with interested community members it
now seems that a board resolution for rebooting Apache Ambari
PMC may be the quickest and most convenient option. Since
the initial PMC are all (more or less) ex-Ambari folks AND
they all happen to be ASF members -- I don't see any issue
with it. Unless there are any major objections here's what I'm
            going to submit.

             A. Establish the Apache Ambari Project

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors deems it to be in the best
interests of the Foundation and consistent with the
Foundation's purpose to establish a Project Management
Committee charged with the creation and maintenance of
open-source software, for distribution at no charge to
the public, related to Hadoop cluster management.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a Project Management
Committee (PMC), to be known as the "Apache Ambari Project",
be and hereby is established pursuant to Bylaws of the
                   Foundation; and be it further

RESOLVED, that the Apache Ambari Project be and hereby is
responsible for the creation and maintenance of software
                   related to Hadoop cluster management;
                   and be it further

RESOLVED, that the office of "Vice President, Apache Ambari"
be
and hereby is created, the person holding such office to
serve at the direction of the Board of Directors as the chair
of the Apache Ambari Project, and to have primary
responsibility
for management of the projects within the scope of
responsibility of the Apache Ambari Project; and be it
further

RESOLVED, that the persons listed immediately below be and
hereby are appointed to serve as the initial members of the
                   Apache Ambari Project:
                         Atri Sharma (atri)
                         Devaraj Das (ddas)
                         Evans Ye (evansye)
                         Uma Maheswara Rao G (umamahesh)
                         Roman Shaposhnik (rvs)

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Roman Shaposhnik
be appointed to the office of Vice President, Apache Ambari,
to
serve in accordance with and subject to the direction of the
Board of Directors and the Bylaws of the Foundation until
death, resignation, retirement, removal or disqualification,
or until a successor is appointed; and be it further

RESOLVED, that the Apache Ambari Project be and hereby
is tasked with the migration and rationalization of the
Apache
Ambari from the Apache Attic; and be it further

RESOLVED, that all responsibilities pertaining to the Apache
Incubator Ambari podling encumbered upon the Apache Attic
                   Project are hereafter discharged.

            Thanks,
            Roman.
