Dist is the distribution mirrors which are mirrored to many sites throughout the world that choose to participate in bringing Apache Software closer to our users.
Everything that has appeared on dist at one time is always available on archives.apache.org. Nothing is lost. Any questions about the policy should be discussed with the Infrastructure team.
