I tend to agree and would feel *much* more comfortable if binaries
went to a different place like binaries.apache.org where we can have
all sort of loud disclaimers.

I don't know how practical that is in terms of our mirroring system,
and that might make releases a bit more complicated but it would make
things much clearer IMO.
