This is not a unanimous decision (one dissenting voice out of 7), but the
podling has been operating with little to no activity for about a year. As
such, I think this is the right path forward with the understanding that Gossip
can return to the Incubator in the future if there is renewed interest in the
project.
Please vote to ratify this request for retirement. We'll keep this open for at
least 72hrs as customary (until 2018/08/12 2300 GMT).
