Efficient asynchronous I/O is one key aspect in Crail, because we're directly leveraging the asynchronous hardware interfaces of NVMe, RDMA, etc and export them at the distributed systems level. If you have experience with libaio and similar interfaces then that's definitely related.. Crail is a distributed storage system designed for high-performance storage and networking hardware, tailored to support data processing in new data center deployments.
