I've prepped some changes to the incubator guides to address this: - Removed unnecessary sections, steps that just don't exist any longer. - Remove the IPMC vote for subproject, instead make the podlings required to vote. I've raised a pull request with the changes. if no one has any concerns I'll plan to merge within a day or two. Please review the changes at https://github.com/apache/incubator/pull/1 and either respond on this thread, or comment on the pull request (commenting on the pull request would be easier). John
