I know nothing whatsoever about metron, but poking around the metron website I found Dev VM Install <https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/METRON/Dev+VM+Install> leading to https://github.com/apache/incubator-metron/tree/master/metron-deployment/vagrant/full-dev-platform which appears to have build instructions… cd incubator-metron mvn clean package -DskipTests I tend to think that if this project actually does love its community it would make some information about how to check out the code and build really really extremely blatantly obvious from the front page of the website and also explain why the instructions I found are at GitHub rather than apache.
