You're both right ;-) My takeaway from Andrew's comment was that this is surely a statement that needs to be clarified. There are different clarifications possible of course: ranging from "let us show Hadoop how to do it" all the way to "Hadoop/Spark/etc are solving a different problem here's how it is different".
