Roman, thanks for officially welcoming me to the Incubator!
It's good to be a part of the distinguished group of people, who are responsible for the nursing of the new communities all the way to top-level projects! A few words about myself. I am with Apache since 2009: first joining the Hadoop, and a number of other projects later on. My most favorite is Bigtop, which is no coincidence, because I've helped to create it ;) Right now I serve as Bigtop PMC Chair. In my pre-Apache life: for the long 15 years I was a part of lost tribe of Sun Microsystems (yo! to all ex-Suns here!). I was a Solaris sysadmin, worked in the compiler groups, and finally joined the Java (JVM) crowd, developing cluster and grid systems. Right now I am the VP of Open Source Development at WANdisco. As I am learning all new ropes - again - please let me know what I can help with.
