I disagree. It should be up to the podling, not general@, to decide if they have C=PPMC. If Christian wants to hold such a vote at the podling, he should do so.
As of this moment, C=PPMC on that podling, and this person is up for a vote. And you just exposed a vote onto general that should have remained on private@.
