The project seems genuinely useful, but it sounds like you're still having trouble attracting interest from potential new users and contributors. Perhaps it might help if you could come up with some kind of an overview of how Tashi fits into the picture with other "big data" projects at Apache. Which products it complements, which it competes with, where are its strengths, etc. You might also try reaching out to those other communities to see if there's interest in cooperation with Tashi. Any "big data" experts in the IPMC listening in? IIUC Tashi is a bit low on mentors, so if you're interested, I think help with tasks like the ones mentioned above and more general community building aspects would be welcome.
