I agree with Bertrand that droids.apache.org would be the domain for the
Droids podling, if it were to go TLP.
Also, the platform is called Android, whereas Droid(R) is a registered
trademark of Lucas, and licensed to Verizon for branding Verizon's
Android-based phones.
Projects could go to Labs or to the Incubator, depending upon what they are.
We are talking about an entry point for discussion and nexus of discussion
to generate energy.
Eventually we might not need this mailing list, but I feel that we need one
today, hence the term "bootstrapping" in the subject.
Umbrellas are not necessarily bad things initially. They foster critial
mass. But then they get too big, and break down.
