We had 6 +1 votes (5 binding) and no -1 votes, so the resolution passes. I believe the next step is for the resolution to be sent to the board? Who handles that?
Here is the final version of the text of the resolution: Establish Apache Thrift Project WHEREAS, the Board of Directors deems it to be in the best interests of the Foundation and consistent with the Foundation's purpose to establish a Project Management Committee charged with the creation and maintenance of open-source software related to cross-language RPC and serialization, for distribution at no charge to the public.
