I spoke to some of the developers here, and we're down to two names: 1) Smores - "Mores" are social customs, which relates to policy, but Smores taste better. 2) Imperio - the curse used to gain complete control of another.
If anyone has an objection to either name, please let me know. Otherwise, we'll choose one and update the proposal. We did also consider APE, YAPE, Axiom, Sage and Mage, but they are all used by other OSS projects. David
