Um, no. The only votes that are binding from the Incubator PMC are
those conducted on general@ or [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Roy's point about graduation was that the PPMC should vote for
graduation first - that can certainly happen on their list. But, the
Incubator PMC shouldn't be forced to play hunt the wumpus and be
forced to subscribe to yet another mailing list to follow every
podling's official graduation vote. I'm sorry, but this is an
absolutely horrible precedent to set. -- justin
Agreed.
How am I supposed to vote one way or another? I'm not subscribed to
harmony-dev. So do I just write an email with my vote? Some random
arbitrary text and subjeect? I certainly won't be *replying* to the
vote thread. It isn't in my inbox. Never will be.
harmony-dev is for the developers of the project. This list is for
Incubator-related matters. You cannot force me to participate in a
project that I'm not interested in... this is a volunteer system. I'm
participating in the Incubator, not Harmony. Sure, Harmony is part of
it, but trying to say that I must now participate in harmony-dev to
have a say? Bull.
The binding voters are on *this* list, or on our private list.
