Maybe I should ask the following, does anyone from the Apache perspective
have a objection to Qpid?

I think Qpid is fine for a name and if there are not "Apache naming" objections then
I can have a trademark search done on it & get that feedback for the list.

Carl.

Did anybody do any trademark investigation?

I didnt find anything problematic in my simple search ;)

How about Qpid? It could mean Queuing Protocol for Information Delivery or something like that.
