It sounds as if we need more hands on this project to get things going. There's pent up demand from several of us in the community to see improvements in lucene.net, and many are willing to chip in. George, your personal efforts to get this rolling are very much appreciated, but greater progress will be made when the project allows more effective participation from others. To aid in this, I'll do whatever is needed to finalize the web project setup, find out about svn access, and familiarize myself with the incubation process. I wish to participate as a committer, and it sounds as if we need an understanding of how things work, so I'll roll up my sleeves and jump in. It sounds as if several things are in place; I'll take on the task of seeing the i's are dotted and t's are crossed. Any advice or guidance is well appreciated. cheers, -- jeff r.
