Request for setup depends on the status page being created, which you've done, though you need to add the xml source for the Cayenne status page as I noted in the other thread. With the status page in place, you can request that the mail lists and svn repository be created. Logistics on making requests are spelled out at http://www.apache.org/dev/reporting-issues.html. But new committer accounts can't be created yet because: - Anyone who is not already an ASF committer needs to file an Individual Contributor License Agreement (ICLA) -- the form is at http://www.apache.org/licenses/ . Apache account requests shouldn't be made until these ICLA's are in place because those accounts can't be created without them. - Anyone whose employer allows him or her to work on the project using the employer's time and resources might also need to file a Corporate Contributor License Agreement (CCLA) -- it's up to the individual to determine if this is needed or not. See the incubator discussion thread starting at http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/incubator-general/200602.mbox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] --And this info belongs somewhere in the incubator docs -- I'll look for a spot. -jean > http://incubator.apache.org/incubation/Incubation_Policy.html#Setting > +Up+a+New+Podling > > I added myself as a mentor as the criteria seems to be that one of the > mentors 'must' be a member implying that not all do (I'm happy to > remove my name if I need to, but I have time right now to shepherd so I > figured I'd get busy :-) > > http://incubator.apache.org/incubation/ > Incubation_Policy.html#Acceptance+of+Proposal+by+Sponsor > > As Andrus pointed out we are excited to start working with the OpenJPA > folks on everything that makes sense and as we are both (at least > initially) headed to be within the DB community we have every opportunity. > > I would be glad to be in both communities in an attempt to foster cross > pollination. > > Thanks again, > > > Bill Dudney > MyFaces - myfaces.apache.org > > On Mar 8, 2006, at 8:23 AM, Noel J.
