Yea, it is a bit of a chicken and the egg thing :-) However, there is one developer, possibly two at my company that are interested and another two developers outside of my company that are interested as well. So far I have resisted the urge to hit some of the lists I'm on to gather up support as I know off-topic stuff isn't always that welcome. I believe that with Apache owning it and with it being a persistence engine that fills some needs not found in other persistence tools, it will thrive. I know that with db.apache already having two O/R mappers, three might seem like a crowd and while Chameleon can fit into the role of an O/R mapper, its scope it more general, and therefore potentially have a larger user base, than that of a straight O/R system.
As for source, I just zipped up the source and put in on the site at: http://www.bull-enterprises.com/aom/source.zip. It doesn't include the forrest docs or the maven project files, but just the source and JUnit source. Eclipse has made me just a tad lazy about keeping the maven file up to date, but I can do so and provide those if anyone wants to do a build and execute the tests. I couldn't find anything on the site. Is anyone involved with Chameleon's development besides yourself? (I know you are looking for additional developers, but is there anyone else right now? A stable community is a key component to an ASF project (which can seem like a chicken and egg problem at times)). -Brian ******************* PLEASE NOTE ******************* This message, along with any attachments, may be confidential or legally privileged.
