This is a deduction from my observations:
.. It might be due to the history of this mailing list. 15 months ago.
As far as I could see, there were so many
"shout"/"cry"/scream"/"yell-out"s
it seemed. The matter is worse, this list is open to anyone, so 
new comers download(s|ed) the archives of this mailing list.
They might become utterly confused ...
(AAMOF, i was one of the victims of such confusions :)

The root of the evil might be the "fear" to the invisible entities ...
Oh, this can be described as "blind-dog sympthons" or such ... maybe :)

I am sure that Leo's approach is/was very nice. Nice case study.
Leo perfectly made invisible entities hidden in veils of mystery
visible as well as formed a nice *path* for those who follow after.
