Can't you rename "xkit.zip" to something related to "xmlbeans"?

As far as mirroring is concerned, I think you can do.
You can put your files to
/www/www.apache.org/dist/xml/xmlbeans/
, keeping in good order, I guess. (This would be rsync-ed to
/www/archive.apache.org/dist/xml/xmlbeans and other mirror sites)
