Anas,
I am sorry but this should not be done this sudden way. At least, get
well announced a week or so on the list and on the website..and on AE'
sourceforge page, enabling posting on the google-list or wherever
agreed on to stay live during this time..etc. The IRC is not that very
watched and followed by many of us, and by others too.
and, if its going to take few days to a week, not just hours, I would
suggest to put a temp. page describing where the website gone.
All thanks of course to our admins who take the burden of doing all
this effort, but these are just suggestions because the website [and]
the list are the backbone of the project :)
I just made some channels to both reach more people to recruit for
the project, and - most importantly - to back up our standard means of
communication, so today I created:
1
facebook group
arabe...@groups.facebook.com
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_160237000674269
2
facebook page with twitter linked for : notes, events
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Arabeyes/164990160195214?v=wall
3
identica group and page..don't know yet what should be used
http://identi.ca/group/arabeyesproject
http://identi.ca/arabeyes/
info:http://identi.ca/doc/groups
4
tweeter:
http://twitter.com/arabeyesproject
I already shared login information with the project's website admins
and concerned members:
- Mohammed Adnène Trojette
- Youssef Chahibi
- Usama Akkad
- myself.
Hope this be a step forward.

Dear all,
Yes it's two days now I cannot reach any resource on any domain/subdomain.
ping to lists.arabeyes.org, wiki.arabeyes.org, and arabeyes.org fails.
browser says: server not found. (not expired.. its until: 29-Jul-2011)
What's the problem?
Need any help?
[just an idea: why not hosting the mailinglist and the CVS and their
subomains on a different server, in case something like this happen not get
everything paralyzed? or make a mirror?]
