Hey Nicholas, I recently compiled SPEC2006 benchmarks. I followed this guy's website for it :-
https://jia.je/software/2023/08/02/spec-cpu-2006/ His config file at least helped me to compile SPEC2006. If you want to run it on gem5, you probably need to compile them statically. For that you might need to install, static version on gcc, or if required work on glibc(very optional step, I faced an issue with it, it is not solved yet), but it totally depends on the System you are using.
