but I am still not clear how to implement the fix I guess the file is /proc/sys/kernel/perf_vent_apranoid, how can I locate it? you mention “echo a „-1“, so we need to add one line of that command? Is there other option? like modifying gem5 source code to so gem5 can workaround the value of 2 or greater? thanks Minhui
