Hi all, I'm extending the ARM ISA with a custom Load macroop. I saw that some memory instructions (neon especially) refer to "XURa" operand in .isa when referring to the register that contains the base address for the load, while "normal" loads will refer to the "XBase" operand. Both are of type "intRegX64", apparently.
Any reason why both operands exist and guidelines on when should I use one or another? Thank you, Pedro. _______________________________________________ gem5-users mailing list -- gem5-users@gem5.org To unsubscribe send an email to gem5-users-le...@gem5.org %(web_page_url)slistinfo%(cgiext)s/%(_internal_name)s
