Hi, I'm new here gem5. I want to trace DRAM access, but I'm not familiar with gem5 and dramsim3.
I don't know how to use gem5 and dramsim3 together. So I will make a trace file by gem5, and use it for dramsim input. These are my questions. Q1. How can I get a DRAM trace file? - I have searched archives, but there are no answers about the DRAM trace. - As I know, I should modify the code about memory or CPU to use CommMonitor. - but I don't know which file needs to be modified. Q2. Which devices would be connected by CommMonitor? - As I said, I want to trace DRAM access. then Should I add the monitor between Memctrl and DRAM? Thank you in advance.
