Hi Giacomo, Thanks! Now that you mentioned UAO I found this: https://gem5.atlassian.net/browse/GEM5-685?focusedCommentId=11858 (comment in a gem5 Jira issue), reporting that disabling UAO when building the kernel worked. So I'm going to try that and I'll report the steps here if it goes well!
Just a following question: - The instructions to build the kernel for ARM gem5 (https://www.gem5.org/documentation/general_docs/fullsystem/building_arm_kernel) point to a repo where the most recent kernel is version 4.14. If I'm not mistaken the kernel shipped with the prebuilt image (https://www.gem5.org/documentation/general_docs/fullsystem/guest_binaries) is version 4.18. Do you think that will matter to make things work? Is version 4.18 better supported or suggested to be used? If yes, am I looking to the wrong link to get the arm kernel for gem5?
