Hi Nikos, The author submitted a partial implementation to gerrit (Simply modelling a PCIe Link) some time ago:
https://gem5-review.googlesource.com/c/public/gem5/+/13024 A Root Complex and PCI Express Switch implementation was supposed to be uploaded but this never happened as far as I know. If you are really interested I suggest you to contact the author.
