Dear all, I want run Parsec applications on 4-core X86 CPU with FS-mode. I tried two kernels. The first one I am using is x86_64-vmlinux-2.6.28.4-smp and my simulation got stuck with error information "Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill the idle task". Then I tried another kernel x86_64-vmlinux-2.6.22.9.smp, but it also got stuck at : Initializing CPU#3 Calibrating delay loop (skipped)... 3999.96 BogoMIPS preset CPU: L1 I Cache: 64K (64 bytes/line), D cache 64K (64 bytes/line) CPU: L2 Cache: 1024K (64 bytes/line) Fake M5 x86_64 CPU stepping 01 Brought up 4 CPUs
Is this the problem of kernels? Or is there other version of kernels I can use? Thanks in advance! Xin
