Dear all,
I am new to the fast forwarding and I learned that fast forwarding allows
us to switch CPU mode after a certain amount of instructions to speed up
the simulation. So I wonder if there is a way to switch the CPU mode
periodically in GEM5. For example, the simple CPU mode and detailed CPU
mode are applied periodically and the entire runtime is divided into
sequence {T1, T2, T1, T2, T1, T2...}, where T1 is the interval for simple
mode and T2 for detailed mode.
Anyone has any idea about it?
