Hi Qingran,

Not really, If you have enough concurrent threads supported on your machine and
enough memory. Running multiple gem5 simulations is very efficient.

Thanks,
Wei

Subject: [gem5-users] Would two running terminal in one gem5 directory slow
down the simulation speed?

Hi all,

I have a question. Because of the extremely slow speed in which Gem5 runs. I am
willing to open two terminal to run two different simulation tasks respective
in one gem5 directory.

Would this method slow down gem5 simulation seriously? Has anyone tried before?

Thanks

Qingran Wang
