Hi Yuhang,
I would imagine it is counting in DRAM clock cycles, i.e. units of tCK (and 1.5
ns sounds about right). You better check the code though.
The native gem5 DRAM controller will definitely make configuration and analysis
more streamlined.

I use GEM5 and DRAMSim2 togather.
when a running finished, I found two times: one dramsim2 gives(such as
1536688325), the other GEM5 gives(such as 2305038009750).
2305038009750/1536688325 =1500
Note that in GEM5 250 ticks are equals to one processor cycle.
My question is: what's the time unit of dramsim2?
