I think you need to use Python 2.5.

The problem also remains in release 9644, release 10046 works well but I need
to use an old version.

Does anybody know why old release does not execute?

Thanks in advance

Hi Andreas,

I downloaded the revision 9817, compiled it without change anything and the
problem remains.

Rodrigo

Hi Rodrigo,

If I remember correctly this was due to the interplay of specific versions of
swig, Python and a circular import in one of the gem5 modules.

It should be fixed in the latest trunk.

I have a problem with gem5 I compiled it correctly but when I tried to execute
it I got these error messages:

./build/X86/gem5.opt configs/example/se.py --help
