To reduce simulation time, Simpoint approach is used in my simulation.
However, I am not aware of how to perform simpoint on multi-programmed
workloads.
For example, suppose a workload consists of 429.mcf plus 470.lbm. I have
got the simpoint for each of the two applications using Pinpoint
respectively. But I have no idea on the next step. Since these two
applications have different number of simpoints. It seems that it is
impossible to run the whole simpoints together for both applications.
Besides, there are multiple combinations of simpoints ( It is equals to
M * N, where M and N are the number of simpoints for each respectively.)
Can any one share some experience with me?
