There is no GUI for configuration, and I know of no plans to add one. Having worked with SimNow a bit, I can tell you that the charm of a GUI fades pretty rapidly when you want to build complex systems with lots of cores.
That said, I know it does make the learning curve a little less steep.if someone wanted to develop a GUI and contribute it we would gladly accept it.
