Hi, I wish to use detailed CPU and memory model in gem5 i.e. O3CPU + Ruby ALPHA FS config. Earlier I got some error during linux bootup but I worked around using checkpoints till ROI with atomic CPU.
The Status Matrix on website has following note regarding this config: "Ruby does not support probing the O3 LSQ to enforce non-weak consistency models" Will the application crash? If not, then will it have impact on functionality or performance? If yes, will the impact be pessimistic or optimistic? I'd appreciate if you can give some insight into the statement and current state of the O3CPU + Ruby ALPHA FS configuration. Thanks, Ripudaman Singh
