Hi Masoud,

I built the system with a different protocol, but it still seg-fault at
DMA-controller.... Do you remember anything you did differently than mine
(see below)?

thanks very much,
Carole

root@carole-software-lab-nehalem:~/gem5-latest/gem5# scons RUBY=True
PROTOCOL=MOESI_CMP_directory build/ALPHA_FS/gem5.opt

root@carole-software-lab-nehalem:~/gem5-latest/gem5#
./build/ALPHA_FS/gem5.opt configs/example/ruby_fs.py -t

gem5 Simulator System.  http://gem5.org

gem5 compiled Jul 26 2011 12:40:19
gem5 started Jul 26 2011 12:40:55
gem5 executing on carole-software-lab-nehalem
command line: ./build/ALPHA_FS/gem5.opt configs/example/ruby_fs.py -t
Global frequency set at 1000000000000 ticks per second
info: kernel located at: /home/carole/gem5-latest/gem5/binaries/vmlinux
Listening for system connection on port 3456
fatal: system.dma_cntrl0.dma_sequencer.ruby_system without default or user
set value
