Cool, I see it now when compiling on a 32-bit system. It is caused by the BoundingBox attribute of the .eps files, which is written in 1/72". To do this, the code multiplies by 72 and then outputs in inches -- as you can imagine, storing 72 or 144 inches in nanometers causes overflows!
