Gnucap is C++. There is a matrix class using templates. It is an advanced sparse solver specially designed for "fast-spice" simulation. For now, Gnucap only uses it for types double and complex, but it works for any type that defines the standard operators. I have used it for symbolic polynomials, but have not released the code yet.
