Trip report from updating pkgsrc:
- It works. After rebuilding everything (there's a documented ABI
break), opening a qgis project with gpkg and vector data in postgis
worked fine.
- I did not run autotest. (I know I should.)
- The const stuff recently mentioned broke merkaator, and is being
fixed upstream:
https://github.com/openstreetmap/merkaartor/issues/314
But I think that was it for problems.
- I expected the wheel name to have beta1. But I ended up with:
/usr/pkg/lib/python3.13/site-packages/gdal-3.12.0.dist-info/METADATA
/usr/pkg/lib/python3.13/site-packages/gdal-3.12.0.dist-info/RECORD

/usr/pkg/lib/python3.13/site-packages/gdal-3.12.0.dist-info/top_level.txt
This was easy to deal with for testing, and it's possible it's an
issue on my end. I am curious if others see this.
