Hi,
I've been working on a new RFC 103: OGR_SCHEMA open option, see
formatted view [1] and github PR [2]
Summary:
This RFC enables users to specify a OGR_SCHEMA open option in the OGR
drivers that support it.
The new option will be used to override the auto-detected fields types
and to rename detected fields.
There is a very preliminary implementation at [3] but it is just a POC
and doesn't support field renaming which was discussed afterwards.
Please have a look, I am looking forward to read your comments!
